I have the admin and QA rights and I changed the status for one of the issues assigned to my co-worker to closed but it still shows up under My Issues even though "Exclude closed issues" is checked. Can someone tell me what I m doing wrong here?

On the status project admin screen, when you create a status definition jsut check that the checkbox is ticked for "This is a closed status".
If the status is just called "closed" and the checkbox is not ticked, then it is not a closed status.
