Unable to login with admin account

I have 2 servers, one used as the DB server and one used for the website. After successfully connecting up the database and website everything seemed to be working perfectly (viewing bugs, registering new accounts etc etc). However when I try to login with admin/password it tells me the details are incorrect. I haven't changed the details on this account yet. Is there anyway I can recover the password for this account? I now cannot login to my website installation with an account with admin permissions.

Please help.
