Performance Issues

Hi All,

0.8.167.0 (RC2)

Win2k3, IIS6, SQL Express 2005 sp3

We are experiencing real slowness when creating either a new issue or adding a comment to an existing issue.

All other functions, browsing, saving attachments, updating custom fields etc. are working as expected, it is only when performing the above actions that it is taking at least 20 seconds before proceeding.

Anyone have any pointers or aware of any performance issues in the current version?

Are your email notifications set up properly? If they are not then the application is probably timing out when sending those email notifications.

I unticked the "Enable Authentication" option within the Mail / SMTP Server Settings and it cured our performance issues. Thanks!
