Dear All,

I am having some private issues where i want some users like quality assurance and help desk users to be able to view all the issues but without giving them the super user . is there any way to make that.

I ran a quick test on this and it appears to me that the only users who can see a private issue are the administrators / super users. I created a new issue as a regular user, marked it as private, and I was unable to see this issue even though I created it and was the owner. Am I doing something wrong here or does this appear to be a bug?

We have several clients reporting issues to us through BugNET and would like to "hide" the issues unrelated to each client. It seems that marking issues as Private is the natural way to do this; am I correct? This could enable us to make some issues that affect multiple clients as Public for all to see. It would also be nice if the owner of an issue could see their private issues. This would allow us to create a private issue for a client, make them the owner, and allow them to see it even though they are not the creator.
