I have A.D. integration set up. Our BugNet installation was used for two years with the built in user security model and just recently I switched to Active Directory. The question i have is that now the data associated with my old account "jmadden" isn't showing up when it logs me in as the "mydomain\jmadden" user. Looking at "aspnet_Users" i can see it's created "mydomain\jmadden" as a new user. I simply renamed my old "jmadden" to "mydomain\jmadden" and it now shows my data properly.

Is it sufficient to just add my domain name before each username or is there more to mirgrating those old accounts to use A.D.? I'm just worried that this was a hack i created and I'm missing some other step that might come back to bite me.

Any input would be appreciated!

It is ok to just rename the account and put the domain in front of it like you have done.
