Hello,

I have searched through practically every related post in this forum as well as throughout the BN project's own issue tracker and I could not find any reference as to whether POP3 mailbox functionality is supported in v0.8 or whether it was taken out for some reason. (There is plenty of discussion regarding this feature, which I assume is present and functional in 0.7, but the closest thing I found regarding 0.8 support was a note somewhere indicating that POP3 reader needed to be improved.)

I thought I must have missed something in my installation or was doing something wrong, as I couldn't find the admin option for POP3 mailboxes anywhere, nor could I find any documentation or notes or posts regarding its removal from the 0.8 branch. However I've now finally tracked this down in the code only to find that it is not implemented in the SqlDataProvider class (which is also probably why the menu options for this are commented out).

I guess the reasons for my post here are twofold: first, to save anyone else looking for this information the same amount of effort that I've already spent trying to find out how to get to this feature. Secondly, I'm wondering what the current plans are for re-implementing the POP3 feature (if there are any, that is), or if anyone knows whether it is possible or feasible to adapt the code from 0.7 to do this in my 0.8 installation.
