I have an additional question.  When I try creating a new thread I get the following message:  "An error has occurred. Error: Add/Edit Post is currently unavailable." 

So I thought to ask the question here. 

How can I grant someone access to editing an issue without giving the ability to delete the issue.  When you check mark the Issue option under the Edit group in Security Roles, the user is given the ability to delete the issue.  I need to allow users to edit issues (i.e. change status) but not to delete issues.  No option under the Delete group is checked!!!

There is an issue using the tracked threads feature of the forums that will result in that error. I have cleaned out the tracked threads so you should be ok now.


Is this 0.7 or 0.8 you are having the permissions issue with?

Hi Davin,

 

Thanks for the quick response.  I"m using 0.7.9.2.1.

As a side question, can I change the headings on the Project Summary page?  I would like to change the "Milestone" heading to "Phases".

I now recall a bug that was making the delete button visible even when the user did not have permission to delete.  It's already fixed and will be in the next release, hopefully released very very soon.

To change the project summary titles just find the ProjectSummary.aspx page and open that in a text editor, and you can find the titles in that page and change them.
