Email issues to a project - problem

Hi there.  I believe I have set up my smtp and pop3 account correctly in the administration, I have then added a new mailbox to my project with the same email address.  However I am not sure what the email needs to contain when emailing issues to bugnet?  Does there need to be a format, ie

Summary: theres a bug
Version: 1
Priority: High etc etc

or will bugnet log an issue from an email no matter what the content?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

cheers,
Jody

Re: Email issues to a project - problem

If you say you "Beleive you set up smtp" correctly, does that mean that you are receiving mails from BugNET?

Note that BugNET uses one mailbox per project.

All mail received is a new issue with the subject line being the issue title.

However there is a bug [BGN-642] which shows that BugNET will only connect to the pop3 server via SSL.

Re: Email issues to a project - problem

Hi there, thanks for your reply.

Yes, I am receiving emails from bugnet no problem, its just when Im emailing the mailbox ive set up (in application configuration and in my project), I never receive the new bug...

I'll have a look at the bug youve mentioned now though and see what to do next.

cheers
