can anyone provide some information on this functionality is suppose to work?

The query will do a "LIKE" search on the database for the summary and description fields.

thanks for the quick response!!!

from what we can tell, this function only goes against 'active issues' - and since we have added a number of new status codes to help administer our SDLC workflow - we are struggling a little bit to get all the various functionality to tap into these codes - it would be ideal if we could control all this via the status table vs tapping into the code to account for our new status codes....

any suggestions you can provide to point us to a solution would be appreciated!!!
