Moving Database

I am using SQL 2005 and I need to move my database from MACHINE 1 to MACHINE 2.  When I do backup of the database in MACHINE 1 and then restore the database to MACHINE 2 with the replacing the existing database option checked, it does not give me any errors, but when I try to log in to the website it gives me "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again." error message.

Is there a specific way to transferring the database between two SQL servers?

The only other thing you will need to do is copy the machine key from your old web.config to the new one on your other server.  This key is used for encrypting and decrypting the passwords in the database so if they are different you cannot unencrypt them.
