Hmmm...at my work, we are using five different projects but nobody is utilizing these fields so I would say, lets get rid off them. I like the idea of the custom fields.

At the same time, for the next release/installer, we should create these 2 as custom field which people can remove if the don't want. By default, we can disable them or something like that so it won't affect the GUI.

Make sure we give the flexibility of show/hide for the custom fields so down the road, if somebody decides not to show the field, it won't affect the existing structure.
