MySQL support would be awesome. I think it opens up a range of hosting options for the users!

Perhaps we could consider, together, if and how the current DB structure makes MYSQL support more difficult. Possibly even change those areas (almost transparent to the programs or stored procs). Example might be using more views or less stored procs. I dunno.

Chris and smoss,

Sorry it took a little while to get back to you. It's been a busy couple of weeks. Anyway, I have started working on the database portion of it. I think I have nearly all of the tables. The next step is the stored procedures. However, I noticed that the app seems to use the aspnet_user table. If I read it right, that means we may need to write a custom membership provider for MySQL, as well. Any takers? If not, I will look into it. Also, I will post the DDL for the MySQL database, once I have the stored procedures imported. But, I still have 110 left, so it may take a little while.

Thanks,

-Darren

Chris and Stewart,

I actually just did a quick search for a MySQL Membership provider, and I found one at CodeProject. So, we can probably use that one. I'll continue plugging away at the database . . .
