Project Development Features?

So I see that there are a lot of ideas floating around about upgrades to the system. I have just recently loaded BugNet for my

development team and would like to contribute to the project in some way. So what are some of the major feature items that

need addressing in future additions? I see some posts mentioning web services,another mentioning forums, and another mentioning possibly some sort

of email parsing.......so do we have a listing of viable additions.......ones that have gone slightly beyond the what-if phase to 'yeah we definitely have to have it'.

I believe it would make it easier for someone like me to tackle one or more of them. Like say the web services one.

Overall, a very solid foundation, kudos to the team!

Hey AJ,

As Smoss suggested there are a few places to orient yourself to where the project is heading with the project roadmap and the working roadmap on support.bugnetproject.com that is pretty much up to date.

There are many places that you could help out and your help is most welcome. Depending on what you would like to do (I see you have commented on the localization task) there are a few major items that need completed, some are started like localization but better ways have been suggested to do this. Also there are web services for some ajax functionality within the application but they need to be more complete to allow 3rd party integration. This also opens the door for subversion integration.

As for the 0.8 release, it is a ground up redesign of the application that is far more flexible than the 0.7 release. It would be better if any new major features are added that they be added in this release instead of the 0.7 release if you can.
