SQL/server error

Hi Im very new to setting up these type of applications, can anyone please kindly advise me what I did wrong or missing? i set a db in sql 2005 express, some how i just cannot connect to it. Any ideas what i did wrong?

Hi,

1.) What type of authentication are you using? (integrated or sql authentication)
2.) Post your connection string without password
3.) Is your database service up and running?
4.) What Windows-OS are using?

I set server authentication to "SQL server and windows authen. mode", is that correct?

2.) Post your connection string without password

3.) Is your database service up and running?
How do i make sure it is up and running? sorry im new to this, please advise

4.) What Windows-OS are using?
bugnet is setup on Ms windows server 2003 R2 , standard edition SP2
