Can't add issues?

I've set everything up okay, with the exception of exception management that is turned off (despite being registered).  I do not see a link or other visual indication as to how to post a bug.  Everything else looks great, want to continue this evaluation!!!

Thanks,

Greg

Re: Can't add issues?

Of course, I made the following changes and everything seemed to start working:

- Added read/write permissions to the Upload directory

- Added more than one version

- Switched back to Windows auth (tried it first, then went to forms, then returned to Windows).  Users appeared to be set up correctly.

If the link to "Report Issue" is not showing up on the menu for a user then they are apart of a role that doesn't have permissions to report an issue.  In the project configuration check the Roles tab and verifiy that the user is apart of a role that has the "Add issue" permission.

Re: Can't add issues?
I have the same problem, permissions are well configured. I've tested with different roles, created own roles... result is nothing.

Here are the steps that I followed:
  1. Goto the project administration and click the Role / Permissions tab.
  2. Click add role and enter the name of the role.  I used "Reporter".
  3. Check the "Add Issue" permission. I have also added the add comments, attachments and related issues, edit own comments and subscribe to issues.
  4. Click the save button.
  5. Click the Project Members tab and add the user to the to the project using the right arrow button after selecting the user.
  6. Select the user from the drop down box. And select the "Reporter" role or the name you chose and click the right arrow button to assign the user to the role.
  7. Log out and try logging in as the user and you should see the report issue beside the list of projects.  Or visit the project summary for the project and report issue should show up.
I hope this helps.
