Hi all - I'm new to ASP.NET projects in general - but I'm evaluating BugNet using the 0.70.x source checked out from SVN.  I have the site up and running on IIS, ran the install wizard, and have my database created, the only thing I can't do is login.  It seems the admin login that is part of the install wizard doesn't get added to the list of users?!?  Also - I'm using SQL 2005, NOT Express - I changed the connection string in my web.config to use the database that the wizard creates.  Could it have something to do with the default authentication mechanism that's setup in the web.config?

What am I missing from my setup?  Do I need to add users through SQL?

Thanks for the insight....

Rob

You may be experiencing this issue:
http://support.bugnetproject.com/Bugs/BugDetail.aspx?bid=135

Trying giving the asp.net account (network service in win2k3) read and write permissions on your web.config then running the installer again.

Yes - I missed that part - but it's still not allowing me to login.  At least this time it did save the web.config correctly with the new connection string.   Anything else I might have overlooked?

As a temporary workaround - where can I find (or reset) the admin password for the development SQLExpress database?

The test database needs to be recreated as well as none of the proper roles have been created like they are in the install process.

The password is "p@ssw0rd"
