Hi,

I have installed the application sucessfully with great pain....the Nant installation is not a smooth way for a lay man....Afterinstallion is done when i try to open the site i get the code displayed in the browser....i get same problem with all pages in bugnet....but im able to open other .net websites....do i need to do any more settings to make the application work.

Installation is undergoing an overhaul.  Many users have felt the same way as yourself.

Your problem sounds like asp.net is not mapped to the virtual directory in IIS.  Goto your IIS settings then virtual directory properties and click the configuration then view the mappings tab.  Make sure that there are several entries for aspx, asmx etc. that map to microsoft\framework ...

By default they should be created if asp.net is installed on the system already.

If these don't exist you can create them by running a .net framework tool aspnet_regiis.

Hi,

Thank you, that worked....but i still have problem accessing other pages in the application. I registered and logged in as registered user...i dont see any links....all i can see is just the Green strip with Bugnet Issue Tracker and version...
