Thank you for identifiying both of these issues.  I left off on friday trying to debug the latter so the help is most appreciated.

I have made the first change to the source in the cvs repository.

The second problem I wll be changing shortly in subversion as it only applies to the 0.7.0 source.'

Thank you,

Davin

No problem, and thank you for applying the changes.

Aftger playing around with it a little more, I found that this line accomplishes the same thing:

sm.HtmlDataString = body;

One other thing that I was not sure about was the MailData.CreateString() method. If needed, is this something that could be done via a helper method?

Thanks again,
Bobby

I just can't get POP3 to work.

I have the HOST setup with the proper email account and login information and POP3 checking is enabled.

I have a mail box setup for my project also, but it just sits there and never seems to poll.
I have restarted everything and checked the logs, but no errors are reported.

You are not alone, there are a few problems with this feature and its implementation in the current version that make it pretty much unusable.  It is currently under redesign in version 0.7.X.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I too face this problem. I have recently downloaded version 0.7.921 and installed it on WIN 2003 Server SE SP1.

Via Administration\Application Config\SMTP Server Settings, i have configured the following permutations

  1. servername only
  2. servername & valid host email
  3. servername & valid host email & valid username/password

None of these seem to have worked ; email notifcations is still not working.

We already have our MS Exchange server working with other .NET applications (without authentication) without a problem.
