.NET Installation Problem

I'm having some problems doing our installation.  We're really looking forward to trying this out, but ran into a couple of issues.  Firstly, when installing on a Domain Controller you have to change the .build file to reflect the domain name rather than pulling the machine name automatically.  If you are using an account with a different name than ASPNET then that needs to be changed as well.

Got through that issue after hacking around for a bit.  However, run into something I can't quite solve.  The server we are using has .NET 1.1 on it, but the build is erroring out and asking to check the build log for exact reason.  I can't quite seem to find one, can you tell me where that is?

The error on the Dox window is:

BUILD FAILED

THe SDK for the 'net-1.1' framework is not available or not properly configured.

Can you please advise?

Thanks,
dizn0g

Re: .NET Installation Problem
Hi,

Sorry about the problems.  Another user ran into this awhile back and it seems to be that nant requires the framework sdk to compile the app.  I actually distribute the compiled app in the "build" folder of the package.  You can create a virtual directory and copy those files in it and manaually run the scripts against the database.

In the next few days I will be releasing 0.66 Final and a few days after that I will be putting up a windows installer package of the application.
