I am new and trying to install BUGNET. I created a database in SQL 2008, added two users (bugnetadmin and ASPNET) and gave both dbo.Owner permission (actually I tried giving them ALL permissions).

Specified bugnetadmin in my connection string. I am still getting an error page. The first line says:

"The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'sysobjects' database 'mssqlsystemresource', schema 'sys'.

I ran the aspnet_regiis -ga aspnet etc.

I am kinda running out of ideas here.

Double check that the user has specific access to your BugNET database in sql server management studio. This is usually the cause because it is possible to create logins in sql server and not assign them to any database.
