I am triying for a few hours now to configure Bugnet on a new server

I installed sql server express 2008 and created the db, I got two problem

"BugNET Configuration Error" while accessing to /Install/Install.aspx directory, even when I added full control to everybodo this directory

and database access, access denied for user (db error, I should find it)

any clue on upload capabilities ?

Double check that the virtual directory is set to run on asp.net 2.0

yes, i started working but I got a db error right after that

the workaround is to allow full control to full directory, too dangerous solution

for me the correct way would be to

1/ check the access right to upload directory, and

2/ disallow execution right on this directory,

the way you do it is an invitation to hackers, allow access to root virtual directory is ... a mess

I post a new message for that db error

cheers

greg
