Followed directions can't install

Followed Install directions and I am not versed in ASP/XML. Tried to run the Install and had the following Error:Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Unrecognized attribute 'type'.

Verfiy that on the asp.net tab in IIS for your bugnet virtual directory it is set to use the asp.net 2.0 framework.
