web.config cannot be accessed problem

I have full control over the server.

I created the virtual directory, gave it full acess. I assigned NETWORK SERVICE and ASPNET users and gave them full access to the bugnet folder. Still I am having problems.

I get the following error:

Backing up web.config
Checking write permission on '\Config\Backup_2009352304nn\'.
Folder '\Config\Backup_2009352304nn\' exists and is writable.

BugNET Configuration Error

Access to the path 'D:\BugNET\web.config' is denied.

**FIXED**

The directory needed the guest user account assigned to it as well. I know noob mistake !
