Issue lifecycle
Just wondering.
What good bug-resoving workflow is expected to be?

I'l ldescribe here our workflow, as example. BugNet does not support it directly out of the box, so I intended to change it slightly for working in our company. But may be it will be waste work - if there exists better work cycle and I just not know? :)
Or may be even this functionality will be integrated in bugNet? Just hope :)

So. In our coumpany.

1. One person (PM, tester, or developer) create issue (bug or task) and assign it to someone else (any links - developer to developer, tester to tester, it does not matter).
2. Assignee resolves this problem, set 'Resolved' (or 'Rejected' if see no such bug, or task must not be done is some strong reason)
3. Author see this issue as Resolved
4. Author verify that problem was resolved correctly.
5. If problem really resolved - he close issue. If not - he add commend and set status back to open.
6. Project manager can close any issue.
7. Any person can add comments, but only comments.

So main idea is - issue is closed only be person who write it or by project manager. Usually - by author - because it was his request, isn't it?
Assignee can't close issue - he can only mark it as 'Resolved' - i.e. 'issue to verify'
PM can do all, but usually have no time to track and close every issue :-)

Regarding to this workflow BugNet 'as is' is close to optimum, but:
- does not support ability to 'close only my issue'
- tend to hide 'Resolved' issues - they can be found only in search... But it is overoptimistic.. In my opinion only 'Closed' issues must be filtered out in all lists. 'Resolved' in really is only 'supposed as resolved', isn't it? ;-)

What other do with issues?
