BugNET

Hi,
I've copied our live issue database and upgraded it to RC1 to see whas new, below are some of my first impression as a long terms user/manager of previous versions of BugNet.

Upgrade was very smooth - no issues that I am aware of.

Project Summary:
Excluding status all the numbers now relate to the total count and not unresolved count as it was before. I use this page to give me an overview of where we are now, who is running low on issues how may bugs are to be fixed how many critical issue there are etc. With 0.8 this page is somewhat meaningless as knowing the total number of issues related to a type or user etc doesn't give me any indication of where to concentrate on. Also the Project Members and Roles although is informative I think the space could be used to display more information about issues.
Suggestions
• kept the unresolved count and added the total count
• replaced “project members and roles” area with a list of custom queries that have a link to run the query and a total of all and a total or unresolved issues related to the query.

Issue & Query List:
I like that I can now customise the columns displayed and the bulk property editor will save time but I miss the filter, yes there are queries but the filter was so much more quicker for finding issues. E.g. there is no free text search so in order to search issues I have to create a query every time
Suggestions
• Include old filter that is reset every time a new query is run on the query page
• Include old filter on issue list
• Filter to include custom fields

I'll give more feedback when I've used it more.
