Can't add attachments in 0.7.891.0

I've upgraded to 0.7.891.0 and now I can no longer add attachments to issues.

My first guess is that it is a permissions issue with the Uploads directory but I can't figure out what is needed. I've given Write access to Everyone, Web Anonymous Users, and Web Applications, with no luck.

Does anyone have an idea about what might be wrong?

I resolved this by giving Everyone Full Control. There might be a single account that needs this but I haven't taken the time to find it yet.

ASP.NET account on windows 2000 / xp , network service account on vista , windows server 2003 needs read and write to the web.config file and the uploads folder.

Hmm, I just removed the Everyone account (ASP.NET had read/write and this in on Win2K) and it worked.

Not sure what changed, but it is good to know what is/should be needed.

You might want to check the upload directory configured for the project. There now seems to be an implied ~\uploads\ directory whereas in previous releases this was present in each project's configuration. This doesn't seem to have have been fixed/removed by the upgrade process. After upgrading our upload directories hence read ~\uploads\~\uploads\projectA. I have had to go through and fix them manually. We can now see attachments again.
