Not receiving notifications

I have my SMTP setup to use GMAIL

server: smtp.gmail.com
Host email: myemail@gmail.com
Auth: Enabled
Username: myemail@gmail.com
password: mypassword
Port 465
SSL Enabled

I'm getting errors as such:
System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: The operation has timed out. at System.Net.Mail.SmtpClient.Send(MailMessage message) at BugNET.BusinessLogicLayer.EmailNotificationType.SendNotification(INotificationContext context)

But I'm also receiving delivery failures for mail being sent to myemail@mysmtpserver.com and NONE of my users (including admin) have that email address.

any thoughts?

Looks like the server that BugNET is on cannot connect to your mail server. There are some troubleshooting steps found here.

I have no idea why it didn't work the first go round but a few weeks ago I tried to set it up again and it worked. I think Chrome was seeing the username and password fields and putting in incorrect information, but I can't prove that.
