Cannot log into a restored database

I restored a database backup from one system to another. Now the users from the original system cannot log into the new system. What do I need to do to the restored database or new system to get the existing users to be able to log into the new system.

Did you copy your MACHINEKEY setting from the old web.config on the old machine over to the web.config on the new machine ?
