Subversion (SVN)

Subversion (SVN) is a tool which allows development teams to safely coordinate and track software source code changes. This helps large project development by notifying other developers of code changes.

Without SVN it is easily possible to overwrite others changes and would be unable to restore previous versions of code if necessary.
