This page describes how to edit and configure the authentication settings in BugNET.

1. Authentication Settings
User Account Source - If using windows authentication you would select where your user accounts are stored.
WindowsSAM - The accounts are stored locally on the machine hosting the application and is not connected to an active directory.
ActiveDirectory - The accounts are stored in an active directory.
None - If windows authentication is not being used then select this option (Default)
Domain / Path - Enter the domain or path of your active directory or machine name of where the accounts exist. i.e dc=bugnetproject,dc=com
Username - Enter the username of a user which can read from the active directory.
Password / Confirm Password - Enter the password of the username which can read from the active directory.
Disable Anonymous Access - Select this option if you would DO NOT want to allow anonymous users to access your BugNET isntallation. i.e They always must log in.
Disable User Registration - If you would like to prevent users from registering / creating new accounts on your BugNET installation please select this option. User accounts must be added manually if this option is selected.
