Much of my time on the project is spent writing code, whether it be bug fixes, new features or improvements to the application.  In between writing code, I work on the layout of the application but this is not my strong point and often becomes a second priority. In order to better improve the UI and layout of the application I would like to recruit someone to fill the UI / user experience role on the project.

Some of the contributions that this role will play include:

  • An advocate of a user for the team
  • Help improve the UI and layout / create a default theme for the application

To meet the growing needs of the project we have enabled donations through the sourceforge.net website. Donations will be used to help fund the cost of web hosting, development software, and other project costs that are incurred while developing the BugNET application.

If you are looking for web hosting you can help support the project by using the referral id dubeaud when you sign up at webhost4life.

Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

I would like to wish everyone and their family all of the best over the holiday season!

In the past year, the BugNET project has reached a number of milestones.  The first being the creation of this website that is now the active hub for the community and development of the issue tracker.  I would like to thank those who have registered and actively participate in the forums whether be it feature requests or bug reports.

The new release of 0.7 Beta 1 is also another great milestone for the project with the final release coming early in the new year.  This release brings the issue tracker into the .NET 2.0 environment and opens the doors for many new features and improved functionality.

Thank you everyone for your continued support and I look forward to improving the issue tracker in the new year.

There was a brief site outage yesterday due to a database server crash with my web hosting but it all seems to be back up and running now.

If there are any outstanding issues let us know in the forums.

In order to document the project better the dotnetnuke wiki module has been used to create the start of the BugNET documentation.  With this tool, the BugNET team hopes to document all aspects of the project from a user guide to API's and other developer documentation.

Please help out by registering on the site and contributing where necessary.
