BugNET

The first beta of 0.7 has been released.  This is a big step forward for the project moving to the .NET 2.0 framework.  It has been a long time coming and I would like to all those who played a part to get there.  Below is a list of some of the new features in the 0.7 version: Numerous bug fixes from 0.6.7 on. There was a brief site outage yesterday due to a database server crash with my web hosting but it all seems to be back up and running now.

If there are any outstanding issues let us know in the forums.

In order to document the project better the dotnetnuke wiki module has been used to create the start of the BugNET documentation.  With this tool, the BugNET team hopes to document all aspects of the project from a user guide to API's and other developer documentation.

Please help out by registering on the site and contributing where necessary.

BugNET Documentation

BugNET 0.6.7 has been released. This is an install package only and does not contain any source code.  It adds a web installation to the application to address issues with the previous installation.

Instructions for installation are provided in the package.  If there are any issues please report them in the forums.

With the the release of 0.66 I have set up a public installation of the BugNET issue tracker to track bugs, feature requests and issues regarding the project. 

I have migrated any outstanding issues and feature requests from the trackers on sourceforge and are now disabled so please post any new issues at http://support.bugnetproject.com.

A slight delay but the final release of BugNET 0.66 has been released today.  Fixes include those to the email notifications, POP3 settings, an issue where anonymous users could edit comments and minor layout changes.

Screenshots have been added to the website as per user requests.  I have also added a feedback / page rating module to the website and is available on the screenshots page.

BugNETproject.com has officially launched today.  I invite users of the BugNET issue tracker, occasional followers and new visitors to register and participate in the beginnings of the BugNET community. 

With the launch of the web site I hope to see the BugNET community flourish and be the future home base for the project. There is much more support, development and other content to come.
